Junior 4 - 7 Open Session Snowboard Coaching

For the novice snowboarders the sessions will recap on how to turn and brake as well as tips on using the lift effectively. The lessons will then go into the different ways in which you can manoeuver the snowboard and start to build the basic skills and board control.

For the intermediate level snowboarders, the sessions cover switch and more advanced riding techniques. Fun little tricks are learnt with progression into the basics of flatland and freestyle riding.

For the more advanced snowboarders, the sessions cover harder tricks and flatland combos. The coaching is aimed at mastering board control and tricks on the flat ground so that these skills can be taken into the park with great effect.

Open sessions are available for up to 5 people to book on.

If you feel your Child needs a 1-to-1 to start with please book a private lesson.

Equipment: can be provided such as clothes, boots, board and helmet. Please check with the snow centre as to what sizes they have for the smaller / younger riders.
Extra protection like knee pads elbow pads and back protectors are advised but not essential.

Details & Conditions

  • Slope pass is included.
  • Equipment is included if needed, such as clothes, boots, board and helmet.
  • Helmets must be worn.
  • Minimum standard: Passed off from the lesson slope or able to do controlled link turns on the main slope.
  • Can use slope lift.
  • Minimum age 4. (if you would like a lesson for a child younger then 4 please contact us)
  • Meet up point:: Floor 1 at the benches near the slope entrance.
